Performances will take place between 11:00 AM and
6:00 PM at Six Flags
Magic Mountain, Valencia, CA.
Choral
Magic will provide choral risers, acoustic piano, and 2 solo microphones.
Directors are required to provide 2 sets of music scores for the 2
adjudicated selections for each performing
group. Due to the location of the performance site, we cannot accommodate
any accompanying combos with drum set, guitar, electronic keyboards,
etc.
Judges comments will continue to be recorded on Standard SD Cards. These cards will be provided for you.
Schedule
Each group will have 20 minutes to warm-up and then perform 2 adjudicated
selections. Warm-up and performance will take place on stage. Scheduling
will be done on a first come first served basis. In other words, the
earlier you apply, the more time slots you have to choose from.
Classifications
The festival is open to middle school, junior and senior high
school mixed choir, men's or women's choir. Due to the popularity of
this event, we must limit each school to two performing groups.
Mixed Choir (SATB or SAB)
Women's Choir (SSAA)
Men's Choir (TTBB)
We cannot accommodate madrigal, jazz or show choirs at our November
Festival. We will be offering these classifications at our spring Music
In The Parks festivals. Contact our
offices for information on our spring Six Flags Magic Mountain
Festivals.
Awards
Each performing group will receive a trophy with the appropriate
rating of superior, excellent, good, or fair. If entered for competition,
the group will be ranked in first through tenth place within their
division. Score Sheets, SD Cards with your recorded comments, and a complete event recap will be distributed after the Awards Cermeony. The Award Ceremony will be held in the Magic Moments Theatre
the evening of the event.

Six Flags Magic Mountain fall hours: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

Payment Schedule
$55.00 is due with registration. Payment in full must accompany

*There will be a small number of extra tickets available for purchase at the Festival Registration area on November 3. Payment must be made for any additional tickets at that time and can be purchased using cash or check.
Educational Programs Network reserves the right to cancel any programs where
attendance is below minimal acceptance.
